I'm a little bummed about my local politics, too. But still! The national stuff makes me feel a lot better. Rumsfeld's resignation alone will keep on making me happy for days. And no, I have no idea what the hell that Bush quote means, either. Because hey, isn't democracy supposed to be run according to the will of the people? Of course, I can see why Bush might be confused on that point, since he doesn't seem to think that's what democracy means at all.
