Vids I Might Maybe Make Someday
Apr. 30th, 2006 12:06 pmWell, I have a crappy old computer with so little hard drive space I couldn't even run the editing software needed to make a vid, so these my never happen. Also, I'm lazy. Even if I do make any of these, they won't be available until well after Christmas (which is when we plan to give the Big Giant 7-Season Boxed Set to ourselves). But then again, I still have them at least partway, if not mostly, edited in my head, so...

Willow chronicling the events of "Becoming Pt2" through "Lessons," with the "orange old man" as a metaphor for magic.
A Day Like Today by Tom McRae
Another Willow vid, this one S7, but referencing "Seeing Red" through "Grave." A message to Tara, and bit of a rail against fate/Tara's response thing going on, too.
Half Jack by Dresden Dolls
This is one of my less definite mental edits, but he song gives me goosebumps and I get distinct image-to-sound associations from it. It could be a Buffy vid, episodic of "Becoming" and "Anne," a Faith vid with Buffy/Faith overtones (I don't ship them, but it seems likely that Faith had/has an unrequited crush and/or they made out on the couch at some point), or a more conceptual angst/regret/asskicking vid with Willow, Buffy, and Faith.

This one'd be a Stargate: SG-1 vid. Daniel/Sha'uri, episodic of "Forever In A Day"
Actually, I have a lot of other ideas floating around by brain. I might actually get into the vidding thing once I have the technology.
If you know of already existing vids that match these descriptions, tell me. I'd be interested to see someone else's take (also, it would save me the trouble of making them myself).
