A Good Day

I don't know why it's a good day. It's raining, and has been for the last two and a half days, my nose itches because of all the dust I've kicked up (I'd turn the air filter up, but then it's be loud and annoying), and the reason I've kicked dust up is because I'm midway through cleaning my room, which I'd better get back to soon, because my idea of cleaning involves taking all of my crap and spreading it across the entire floor, then sorting it.
But then again, I am quite cheered because things are a lot less messy than usual this time of year (I think the Big Giant Cleaning of Doom I did last summer, and the six weeks of budget traveling immediately following, slowed the accumulation of debris). Also, I'm listening to music really loudly, and there is a nice little fire crackling away, keeping things from getting to cold and damp inside. And I'm organizing bookshelves. Bookshelf organizing makes me happy.

ETA: Of course, having a good day doesn't stop low blood sugar issues.  An itsy-bitsy turkey sandwich and a slice of toast with jam isn't enough lunch even on a sedentary day, a concept I somehow forgot until I got a massive headrush putting a book on the top shelf.  Fortunately I was feeling tall today,  because if I'd been standing on a stool I probably would have fallen.
On the upside, I remembered that we have a Buffy (the one with A New Man!) and an Angel disc from Netflix, so my day is still good.
